Dave grew up in Malibu surfing with his brother, hitting tennis balls until his right arm was oversized and reading everything he could get his hands on. All of which, oddly, led to a career in advertising on the East Coast. When Dave’s not busy making Flo an even bigger star for Progressive, he’s running a creative concept school with Wade Devers. While at Arnold, he’s won national creative awards for Celebrity Cruises, Fidelity Investments, Progressive Insurance and Checkered Past Records – a small but very successful indie music label. His claims to (very marginal) fame include launching POWERADE for Coca-Cola, working with Paul McCartney on Fidelity and writing a hugely popular jingle for Mattel’s “Totally Hair Barbie.” And yes, he will sing it for you if you would like. In addition, he has written commercials for Nextel, Washington Mutual, the Washington State Lottery and Honda Motorcycles.

 His interests include tennis, photography, boarding sports and everything to do with his family.
