Nick Dutton Joins Arnold's Global Network as Managing Partner

Boston, Ma: To support Arnold’s strategy to be a global creative micro network, the advertising and marketing agency has announced that Nick Dutton has joined Arnold as managing partner, global network. In his new role, Dutton will work to further strengthen the agency’s core capabilities outside of the United States. He will report to Arnold Global CEO Andrew Benett.

Dutton joins Arnold from sister agency Euro RSCG in London where he ran Euro RSCG Luxe, a division focused on international luxury brands like Jaguar. He brings significant global and international experience to his new role, working on brands including Volvo, Duracell, Fiat and KFC, and having spent five years in South Africa working for Ogilvy.

"Nick’s appointment and move to Boston is a tangible example of our commitment to our global micro network ambitions for Arnold," said David Jones, global CEO of Havas Worldwide. "Nick is a terrific candidate with proven expertise in running global brands -- something very important to the future growth of the agency.”

"Nick is a perfect addition to the leadership team at Arnold," said Benett. "His extensive global experience will make him an asset on current businesses and to our plans for expansion. In addition to overseeing our European efforts, Nick will work closely with me on developing the plan for Arnold’s presence in Asia and South America.

Dutton, an avid swimmer and the father of two young children has started work at Arnold and will begin working in the London office, and move to the Boston headquarters in the spring.

The agency began 2010 with great momentum, winning the Panasonic business, and having Truth, its award-winning teen anti-smoking effort, recognized as “Campaign of the Decade” by Adweek. While global growth is one of the agency’s key priorities for the year, continuing to fuel Arnold’s global capabilities is a core strategy. Arnold’s key clients include the likes of Volvo, Jack Daniels, Southern Comfort, Ocean Spray and Hershey’s; the agency has offices in London, Prague, Milan, Lisbon, Madrid, Boston, New York and Washington, D.C.
